The Bassanio Heights refers to the large area above the cliffs overlooking the Portia plains and the Collapsed Wasteland, separated from the Eufaula Heights by the Portia River. WOW Industries and the Portia Falls can be found here, and the Bassanio Heights even provide a view of the Somber Marsh.

Rare yellow-flowered Cinnamon trees and tall white trees bearing Purple Resin can be found here, as well as Pine and Elm trees that drop regular Wood.
There is a fishing spot on the Eufaula Heights side of the Portia River. It is visible from the Bassanio Heights side, but is too far away to fish at without crossing the river.
The player can opt to place a Dee-Dee Stop at the Bassanio Heights, allowing them to easily access it via the Dee-Dee Transport System.
Unlocking[]
The Lift
The area is inaccessible until The Bassanio Lift is complete, as the lift is broken and needs new Lift Controls to function.
After installing the Lift Controls, the lift resumes operations and Bassanio Heights can be accessed at any time by walking onto the lift's platform while it is fully lowered. The lift moves up and down automatically and cannot be manually stopped. Mounts and accompanying characters are able to ride with the player up the lift.
Trivia[]
- The player can access the Eufaula Desert before building the Portia Bridge by going up the Bassanio Heights Lift, then jumping with the help of a mount across the river at its thinnest point. This requires the player to sprint on their mount towards the river, jump as close to the edge of the water as they can, then jump (right-click) off their mount before hitting the water.
- The player can jump across on either side of the river with this method. (Tested on a Cotton Llama.)
- This method allows the player to simply ride the Dee-Dee Transport System all the way to the Bassanio Heights stop, then jump across the river to fish at the Eufaula Heights fishing spot.
