Carol is a resident of Portia with whom the player can develop a friendship. She is the tailor of Portia town and the owner of the Clothing Store on Central Plaza. Her shop operates out of the same corner as her husband's shop, Total Tools.
Carol has three daughters with her husband Mars: Molly, Polly, and Dolly. She manages the financial affairs of her household, citing that her husband is bad with planning on how to use their money. She often can be found behind the counter at her store or exercising in Central Plaza with Martha.
As a girl, Carol lived in a house on a cliff overlooking the ocean. She loved the ocean smell and the sunlight glimmering on the waves. She gave all that up though when she married Mars and moved to Portia. She still likes to go on strolls on the beach when she's not busy. To help augment Mars' income, she opened up a clothing store in town. Her three daughters look up to her as the perfect role model.
Carol was born on Summer of Day 7. She lived in a house on a cliff overlooking the ocean and used to work in a farm. She gave it up upon marrying Mars and moving to Portia. Carol and Mars had three children, Molly, Polly, and Dolly.
Carol claims to be the best bookkeeper of Portia, having managed the financial affairs of her household. She also owns a clothing store, operating in the same building as her husband's shop, Total Tools.
Carol wears a short yellow shawl with thin green stripes, a red jacket over a thigh-length white t-shirt, and blue jeans.
Carol's family in Portia includes her husband, Mars, and her three young daughters, Molly, Polly, and Dolly. Mars runs a shop in the same building called Total Tools. Carol is Friends with Martha, and she can often be found exercising with her in Central Plaza.
When befriending Carol, her relationship network with other NPCs will also be affected, resulting in the player receiving favor points from those NPCs as well.
Developing a friendly relationship with Carol unlocks new dialogue that reveals more about Carol and gives the player access to special relationship perks.

Chat is a basic social interaction available at any relationship level. Chatting with Carol once a day can increase her relationship by 1 point, or 2 points with the Smooth Talk skill; subsequent chatting, on the same day, only results in the same conversation without any relationship gain.
- Every giftable item, except for the items below, will have a Neutral (+1) effect when given to Carol.
- Gifts given on festival days and on Carol's birthday will earn the player 2x and 3x relationship points, respectively, and will show a unique dialogue.

The following items are desires, or wishes, which are randomly assigned to one or two characters per week. The player is required to be at least at Associate level with Carol for her to be assigned a desire. More desires have a chance to appear as the player's friendship with Carol progresses; the new desires are added to the existing ones but do not replace them. Some characters may desire an item that they do not normally like.
In the event that Carol has a desire, gifting the wanted item will provide the higher tier points; otherwise, on non-desired events, the item gives the base point value. The birthday or festival day relationship bonus applies when gifting a desired item.

Carol can spar with the player up to three times per day.
Note that the level in the table below is Carol's base level at the start of the game. Carol's actual level can be higher because Carol will level up over time.

Once the player has become buddies with Carol, they can schedule a play date together.
If the player chooses to dine at The Round Table with Carol during a play date or date, it is recommended to order dishes Carol will like. If asked before ordering, Carol will sometimes tell the player exactly which dishes to order; other times, Carol will just give little hints. In the event that Carol does not specify the exact foods desired, the player should order between three and six dishes, depending on what hint Carol gives. It is recommended to order each of those dishes from different courses, ex. ordering one Appetizer, Meat, Vegetable, Dessert, and Drink course each, rather than five Desserts.

Carol occasionally uses the Relic Pieces Exchange board at the Museum to trade for relic pieces. Carol likes to look at particular completed relics, so after the player has donated such relics to the Museum or displayed them in their yard, Carol may come visit the Museum or the player's yard to view these relics. Such visits will earn the player relationship points each time, with the amount dependent upon the relic.
