Main mission headicon

Main missions are mostly directed towards the main storyline, or a main character or plot development. These missions are usually completed in a sequence, though some missions do not appear for weeks or until after the next fireside meeting. Other missions may not be directly related to the main storyline and are usually activated when a certain criterion is met or as the calendar progresses.

Completing main missions advances the overall story of the game, including the technological level at the player's disposal. Some missions allow access to new locations, while others improve the atmosphere, appearance, and sometimes functionality of an existing location.

Main missions generally do not impose a time limit on their realization. Main commissions posted on the commission board typically have time limits, such as South Block Development. If the player does not finished these timed main missions before they expire, then an another Builder in town (likely Higgins) will pick up the commission and finish it after a week or so. verify ]

Main missions are displayed on the map with the following icons: Map Icon Mission NewMap Icon Mission Follow UpMap Icon Mission Place Item.

Chronology Edit

Here is a timeline of all main missions. They each trigger after the previous one has been completed. If a mission triggers multiple new main missions, this will be indicated by indentation (for example, Bridge to Amber Island triggering Panbat Infestation, The Cave on Amber Island, and the Dee-Dee missions).
