Clothing is a type of equipment that can be worn on the torso, legs, or head. Wearing clothing typically increases defense, health and stamina points, but it may also have additional effects. Clothing can be purchased in the Clothing Store or obtained as mission rewards.

Revising

Most clothing can be revised at the Clothing Store for a certain amount of materials after completing Carol's Sewing Machine mission.

The clothing the player wants to revise needs to be in the inventory (not equipped). In addition, the piece of clothing which attributes the player wants to upgrade to should be in the inventory as well.

Revising a piece of clothing takes one day to complete.

Diving Helmet and Welding Helmet are the only pieces of clothing that cannot be revised.

Hats

A hat is a piece of armor worn in the head slot in the player's inventory. Hats provide bonus to the player's Max Health Points. Some hats provide additional bonuses.

Most hats will change the player's hairstyle to a single default style while the hat is worn and visible, with the exception of the Bandana and Saint's Headgear when worn by any player character, and the Elegant Dress Headgear if worn by female player characters. Hats can be turned off from the game options, rendering the hat invisible while still giving the player the benefits the hat offers. Taking the hat off or turning hats off in the settings will restore the player's chosen hairstyle.
