Monster icon Colorful Llama

Colorful Llamas are common neutral monsters that can be hunted for loot. They can be also be captured and used as a mount with the Trap Box.

Their elite version is the Cotton Llama.

Spawning[]

Colorful Llamas can be found in Portia Grassland south and east of the player's Workshop, all the way to the Bassanio Falls.

Colorful Llamas' levels range from 1 to 10.

Defeating a group of Colorful Llamas south of the Central Plaza gate spawns a level 21 Cotton Llama once per day; defeating Colorful Llamas in other groups will not spawn a Cotton Llama. The group able to spawn a Cotton Llama is marked by an outline on the spawn map.

Behavior[]

Like most of the monsters in the Portia Grassland, Colorful Llama are passive until provoked. Like other creatures, they are able to enter water.

Colorful Llamas are slow creatures, with move speeds just below that of the player, but after being attacked, they will travel at a medium speed, running as fast as the player.

Passive[]

They travel by leaping, and, like all other neutral monsters, they will run from the player when they get close. While unprovoked, they will simply bound around the field, keeping close to the bushes that they sleep in at night.

Hostile[]

When attacking, they will charge at the player very fast, faster than the player's sprint speed, but will only be able to charge for a short distance.

Trapping[]

Main article: Mounts
Ride Colorful Llama

Colorful Llamas can be trapped, tamed, and trained as mounts once the player has a Stable built on their property. Only one Stable can be built, and a Stable can hold up to three owned mounts and one rented horse at a time.

To catch Colorful Llamas, a Trap Box must be placed in the capture area behind the player's yard near a herd of wild llamas and baited with 3 Lettuce and 1 Cumin.
