Time to get Serious is one of Phyllis' romance missions.
Overview[]
The player must be Lovers or higher with Phyllis.
Required stations[]
The player must have the following to complete this mission:

Level 2 Worktable - Civil Furnace
- Electric Furnace
- Civil Cutter
- Basic Skiver
- Blender
The player must also have access to the Aluminum Ore, either through the Desert Abandoned Ruins or Dana's Mining Company.
Conduct of the mission[]
When the player proposes to Phyllis with a Wedding Ring to Phyllis she refuses:

Ask Phyllis' Friends[]
The player has the option to talk to three of Phyllis' closest friends. They do not have to talk to everyone; talking with Xu completes this step.
If the player asks Albert he says:

Phyllis? She's pretty, smart, and passionate, so of course she's gonna be very popular! However, she seems really repulsed by the notion of marriage. I know from experience. I'm not sure why. |

You proposed to Phyllis? Haha, you've got some nerve! Well, you want to know why she doesn't want to get married? To her, marriage is a stumbling block to her dream. You know that she left her hometown to escape from an arranged marriage, right? At this rate, I don't think she'll accept any proposal from anyone. Sorry buddy. |

Personally, I feel Phyllis is very close to becoming a doctor. It's not like we have standarized tests for these titles nowadays. Anyway, here are my notes for when I was starting out this clinic, including a couple of diagrams for some of the machinery. Maybe you could build them for her to help her get prepared. |

Post-conduct[]
The player can marry Phyllis after completing the mission.
If the player also completes South Block and does not break up with Phyllis or marry someone else, the next mission will trigger.

Trivia[]
- This mission is the only time the player can get the recipe books for Decocting Pot and Experiment Glassware.
- The player is not required to marry Phyllis after completing the mission. The next mission will trigger even if Phyllis and the player are not married.
