Most countries back in the Age of Corruption had powerful AIs called All Source AIs. They ran everything, from their infrastructure to their military. Because of how sensitive they were, the locations for these AIs were always hidden, and only key personnel were able to access them.
At least that's what the old books said. There were always rumors that one such AI was around these parts, but I never bought into that. This could be a momentous discovery...
