Among the residents of Portia are seven brothers who are identical septuplets, collectively referred to as the Hulu Brothers. Yeye is their grandmother.
They are all about the same height and weight, with birthdays spread over only two days starting mid Autumn. Each brother wears a different color shirt, each shirt corresponds to a different color of the rainbow.
The only brother that can't be romanced is Dawa. All seven can be sparred with, although Wuwa (level 3) and Qiwa (level 6) start at much lower levels than the other brothers, who each start at level 22.

Brief bio of each brother[]
Dawa is one of two individuals responsible for the Tree Farm (the other is Aadit), and will typically be found there.- Erwa is a news reporter at the Portia Times, and works with Mei.
- Sanwa is the town barber. Prior to meeting him, some other townsfolk mention him, including the fact that he is color-blind and has ceased working as the barber because of it.
- Siwa is found in the desert after completing the mission to build The Portia Bridge.
- Wuwa is technically the first character you meet, as he is the boatman that brings you to Portia Harbor at the start of the game. However, "first meeting" dialogue occurs after starting the game proper.
- Liuwa is seen running from the town to the Harbor early in the morning. After completing the Bridge to Amber Island mission, he is found outside the Cave entrance on Amber Island.
- Qiwa is a Fisherman. One of the first interactions the player has with him is him asking for a new Fishing Rod.

Trivia[]
- The Hulu Brothers are based on the titular characters in the popular Chinese animated show, Calabash Brothers (č«čå å¼).
- The unique parts of their first names are numbers in Chinese, other than Dawa's name. Da (大) means big, so it can be inferred that he's the eldest brother.
- The -wa half of their names is likely the same -wĆ” (åØ), baby, character from the Calabash Brothers' names.
- "Hulu" might not actually be their last name, but a reference to the gourd on their shirts, itself another a reference to the Calabash Brothers.
- On the weekend, most of the brothers, except Liuwa and Siwa, can be found having a barbeque together near Amber Island. Liuwa stays guarding Amber Island's Cave (later the Haunted Cave), and Siwa is stuck in the Eufaula Desert until the bridge is built.
