Panbats are common neutral monsters that can be hunted for loot.

Panbats' elite variant is the Vampanda. Unlike other elites, it does not spawn after the player kills Panbats in a given group and instead spawns automatically on cloudy or rainy days.

Panbats and Vampandas are the only source of Bat's Wings in the game.

Spawning[]

Groups of Panbats can be found in the fields east of Central Plaza gate, in the Collapsed Wasteland, in the Bassanio Heights area, and in the Somber Marsh. Panbats will also spawn in the Tree Farm after Panbat Infestation begins.

Panbats' levels range from level 6 to 10.

Behavior[]

Panbats travel by flying and are slow, with idle movement speeds just below that of the player. They, like most other creatures, are able to enter water. Panbats are only aggressive on sight when found within the Collapsed Wasteland or within the Tree Farm during the Panbat Infestation mission.

After being provoked, they will travel at a medium speed, moving as fast as the player. When attacking, Panbats will shoot a projectile at the player.

Merchandise[]

A Panbat plush toy was tested for the My Time at Portia Kickstarter campaign as a reward. However, Pathea Games was dissatisfied with it and did not produce more.

Trivia[]

If a Boombox is placed in the Tree Farm to resolve the Panbat Infestation, the Panbats will become passive and stay in the Tree Farm. Otherwise, they will permanently flee.
Panbats once held a medical syringe between their feet and dropped Panda Teeth and Syringes.
