Ginger's Treatment is a secondary mission that prevents Ginger's disease deterioration plotline from happening.
This mission is part of Ginger's disease stabilization plotline.

Overview[]
The player must have completed The Builder Bout, concluding the main story of My Time at Portia.
All triggers are still unknown.
This mission "will" trigger on Spring 1 of the year after the player completes the main story, regardless of the player's relationship level and status with Ginger.
There is a time limit of 30 days.

Dr. Xu shows up at the player's Workshop in the morning, asking for their help in treating Ginger's condition:

Once the player crafts the Therapy Lamp and installs it inside Dr. Xu's Clinic near the bookshelf, a cutscene plays with Ginger sitting in front of the lamp undergoing treatment:

Post-conduct[]
The next morning after completing the mission, the player will get a letter from Dr. Xu requesting more Therapy Lights. It starts Craft Therapy Lights, a recurring mission.

- If the player is married to Ginger, Dr. Xu will not ask them if they would like to help and will instead give them the mission and crafting recipes right away.
