This mission is repeatable up to four times through the commission board. Higgins may take one or more of the commissions. This commission cannot stack with the same commission but may be taken simultaneously with a different side commission.
Required stations[]
The player must have the following to complete this mission:
I have drawn up a plan to place some street lights around our city. We have received too many complaints about not having enough lighting after dark. The city government will place 4 separate orders for light posts at the Commerce Guild starting tomorrow, please fulfill these as fast as possible! I know our citizens will be overjoyed!
Mayor Gale
To begin the mission, the Commerce Guild has placed 4 Rank B commissions on the board, which can be taken by any builder. These commissions can be taken simultaneously with other commissions but cannot stack the same commission. Upon taking the commission off the board, a recipe book to craft a Street Light is given.
Install Street Lights[]
The following items are required to complete the mission:
Upon placing the Street Lights, the player can report to Antoine to complete the commission.
The player can take another Street Light commission immediately after completing one.
Post-conduct[]
The next morning after completing the mission the player will receive a letter from Dawa inviting them to the Tree Farm to help with a panbat infestation.
Some characters will comment on the new street lights after the mission is completed:
It's so relaxing to be walking through the woods surrounding Portia at night. It helps to calm the mind.
The one thing I liked about Lucien was that its streets were always very bright. When I first came to Portia, Jack and I were not too used to the dark streets at night.
People in town are feeling great about the street lights. Helps us with our night patrols as well.
I love the new street lights. Martha and I can finally see our fingers when we do our exercises in the plaza.
The new street lights installed in the city make Portia look so lovely at night! I bet it's the prettiest city in the whole world.
The citizens are really enjoying the addition of the street lights. In fact, some are even asking us to install more across the country side as well. Unfortunately, we don't have that sort of budget.
The Mayor should have prioritized street lights for our city a long time ago. About time!
We need to use more benevolent technology like the street lights. The Church will always support these.
I think the streets are much safer with the new street lights installed.
When is the Mayor gonna add some street lights to the country roads outside the town? We need 'em as well, you know?
Even though the street lights are pretty, it's not really a big news story.
Portia looks very beautiful from atop the Temple tower at night.
I can actually get some reading done under the street lights now.
I really appreciate the new street lights. My eyes aren't as good as they used to be.
The new street lights are very nice! Now when our Grandma comes for a visit, she will be able to move around much easier at night.
Not that Portia wasn't safe before, but it just feels more safe with the new street lighting.
Darn, with these new street lights, I can't sneak out of my house at night anymore. Wait...you didn't hear me say that!
The Mayor needs to install some lights in the Harbor, we can't get much work done once the sun goes down.
I'm glad the city has added some street lights. Some of my elderly patients have complained for years about a lack of lighting in the city at night.
