Relic pieces can be put back together again using a Recovery Machine. At the start of the game, the only available Recovery Machine is located in the Research Center and requires Data Discs to operate.
Relics can be broken up into up to five different pieces, and every piece must be found before the relic can be restored to its former glory. See multipart relics below for where each relic piece can be found and how many Data Discs are required to restore each relic.

Restored relics provide attribute buffs to the player when placed inside of the house or in the workshop yard.
- Main article: Donating items to the Museum
Donating to the museum also allows the townspeople to view the relics. When an NPC views a relic that they like, it bolsters your relationship with them. Similarly, NPCs that pass by the workshop may notice relics that the player has placed in their yard, resulting in an additional relationship boost.
