Sasquatch is a yeti-like boss monster that can be hunted for loot.

Spawn []

Sasquatch can be found in the Somber Marsh at level 60, and will only spawn during winter after defeating the Pointy Nosed Snowman in the same area. Immediately after defeating the Snowman, the Sasquatch will appear.

Sasquatch can also be found on level 110 of the Deepest Ruin (currently on PC v2.0.136413 (Steam, GOG, and Epic Games) only). The first time this Sasquatch is defeated, the player will gain one Golden Staff.

Behavior[]

Passive[]

While unaware of the player, the Sasquatch will wander the area it originally spawned in.

Hostile[]

When engaged in combat with the player, it will move slightly faster than walking speed towards the Builder. It can easily be outrun, when sprinting.

Sasquatch has four attacks, two of which are quite similar. Additionally, all of its attacks have a generous range, so exercise caution. All of the attacks deal similar damage, per hit, but some can be significantly more dangerous.

  • Firstly, it will pound its chest twice, before slamming the ground in front of it.
  • Secondly, the Sasquatch's "ranged" attack. The Sasquatch will pick up a pile of snow, and throw it. This ranged attack, while longer ranged than some of its attacks, still has short range, compared to creatures like the Chemical Dropout. This attack also has no visual projectile, as of version 2.0.
  • Thirdly, it has a short melee combo, where it will swipe, twice, and then throw the Builder into the air. Exercise caution with this attack, as it will inconsistently still hit the Builder, even if the Builder escapes, mid-combo.
  • Lastly is a stronger version of the third attack. It will do the first three hits, two swipes, and an uppercut, but, instead, will slam the Builder back down, and continue into a long combo, which ends by launching the Builder a fair distance away. This attack also has the issue where it may inconsistently keep hitting the Builder, regardless of distance.
