The Shed, commonly referred to by many players as a Barn, is a workshop building that can be purchased at the A&G Construction to raise farm animals, if the player wishes.
The player can have a maximum of one Shed, but is not required to have one. All of the resources that Shed animals produce can also be obtained as loot or gathered elsewhere.
Requirements[]
The Shed can be built using the catalog on Albert's desk in A&G Construction. The amount of resources needed to construct the Shed can be lowered by befriending Albert, and the amount of Gols needed can be reduced by befriending and romancing Gust.

Animals[]

The Shed can house up to a total of twelve Calves and/or Lambs at a time. The animals can be purchased from McD's Jumpin' Livestock, owned by McDonald. Two Calves are given to the player for free as a reward for completing McDonald's Stable. The player will need to interact with the Shed itself to add animals or food.

The farm animals will need food and petting every day in order to grow quickly. If the player omits giving the animals either one, the process will take longer. The player can hold a Feather Duster in their toolbar as their active item and press the Interact button to pet many animals at the same time.
Animal products[]
Once fully grown, simply providing enough food is sufficient enough for the animals to continue to produce loot, such as Colorful Fur and Animal Feces, each day. If the animals are not fed, they will not produce anything, [ verify ] but will not die.
For each day that the animals are fed, fully grown Cows each produce one Colorful Fur and one Milk, while fully grown Sheep each produce one Colorful Fur and one Worn Fur. Both types of animals will also produce a few Animal Feces, though there is a cap to the amount of Animal Feces that farm animals can produce per building per day, so it is not a 1:1 animal:feces ratio.
Selling animals[]
Sheep can be sold for a price ranging from 27 for newly added lambs to 1400
for fully grown adults. Cows can be sold for a price ranging from 48
for newly added calves to 1820
for fully grown adults.
Animal feed[]
The player can interact with the Shed to add or remove animal feed. A maximum of 50 items can be placed in the food trough in the Shed. Each type of animal feed gives a different amount of growth points; giving feed with higher growth points helps the animals grow faster. [ verify ]
Trivia[]
- Though the Shed is a barn in function and appearance, My Time at Portia refers to this building as a "Shed," so this is the term used across the wiki.
Funny: Calf's ingame description is: The calf can be bred in the Barn
