Obtaining

The recipe for crafting Sun Screen is obtained in the letter sent by the player's Pa after Craft Therapy Lights. To get the letter the player must be married to Ginger and must have completed Ginger's Treatment and Craft Therapy Lights.

Player, Hey. It's your old man. I've arrived back in the Eastern Reach again. While out exploring, I found this strange recipe in one of the ruins. There was a picture next to it calling it the Sun Cream. That made me think of Ginger. Maybe this can let her walk under the sun again?

Sun Screen can be crafted using the Worktable:

Usage

Mission

One Sun Screen is required to start a conversation with Ginger. The player can approach her with a Sun Screen in their inventory to give it to her. After the player exits their house the next morning, a cutscene will trigger with Ginger applying the Sun Screen and taking her umbrella off.

Sun Screen can be given as a gift to other characters.
