Description
Verify is used to alert editors of phrases or statements that are: potential false information, outdated, or otherwise information that need further supporting. This template can be added along with Template:Outdated but does not require its partner template.
The difference between Outdated and Verify is:
- Outdated is an article notice template, typically obtrusive to an article, and the fact is not up-to-date.
- Verify is less obtrusive and is added at the end of a phrase or statement that needs verification. While the information can be outdated, it may also be false information.
